Dear Friend,
We hope you are well, and having a
fantastic Summer. We are praising God that we arrived safely in Malawi
yesterday. Today was spent cleaning and beginning to set up house,
getting cash, and a few errands in town. It feels good to be back.
Praise Notes:
-Time at Family Camps in Ontario was both fruitful and very enjoyable.
-We had a wonderful two weeks of vacation with Steffi's family.
-We arrived safely in Malawi.
-We have a truck to use for the next 3 1/2 weeks, loaned to us by friends who are gone on holidays.
-We've
received a very warm welcome and much help from our colleagues, who are
graciously hosting us in their home until we get ours reasonably ready
to move in.
Prayer Requests:
-Please
pray that we will find the right truck for us, at a good price, and
that adequate funds will come in. (Thanks to all of you who have helped
with that cost already).
-Pray also that all our luggage will arrive soon. Five suitcases didn't arrive with us, which is not uncommon, but prayer would still be appreciated.

-We need to identify good language helpers to assist us in learning Chichewa.
-For a good start on this next phase of life and ministry in Malawi.
